During London Fashion Week the Global Toni & Guy Ambassador, Mark Hampton uses 4 product lines (Clasic, Casual, Glamour and Creative) and creates the hottest looks for Vivienne Westwood RED LEBEL, Matthew Williamson, Marchesa, Sophia Webster and the Label Fashion East. I’m happy to share with you in order to give you a taste of the best tips for SS15.
Marchesa’s SS15 collection is inspired by a modern-gypsy Woodstock print. Bohemian lace dressed are trickled with shades of jade and raspberry floral threadworks that fall along billowing sleeves and silk tiered ruffled layers. The hair look is loose and voluminous, it’s feminine and understated.
For the Vivienne Westwood show every girl had their own look to reflect their unique personality, from the classic Marylin Monroe character to the more punky girls with the topknots and sweeping quiffs.
The Sophia Webster’s collection is inspired by rave-wear, feminine club-colour camo prints and fruity colours; It’s all about “jungle is massive”. Each girly-warrior evokes that real 90’s rave culture with twisted, knotted hair piled into bows and bunches, all wrapped in the designer’s signature prints.
Ed Marler’s look incorporates the tribe’s signature bandana, whilst the hair has endless waves for an almost life-like quality with claw-like ends.
Helen Lawrence’s collection provided pops of colour and full on texture; the result was loose tousled waves pulled back into a low pony and finished with flash of colour.
And last but not least, Louise Alsop’s SS15 hair look was inspired by Angelina Jolie’s iconic “Gone 60 Seconds” character. The hair is divided and twisted in sections for a radical look to compliment Louise’s defiant fashion collection.
